Is Ian - of both bands - still located
in Hull? I've got some bootlegs.

No worries. If Ian and his Heartbreak Angels
are based in Hull (although I doubt it, because
I would have surely heard about by now), then
we can maybe talk about showcasing them on our
humble new BBCi channel.

Darren... yeah, he's still in Hull
He's curious as to wot bootlegs you've got, so rather than to-ing and fro-ing between me, I've passed him your email addy that's noted on your profile (hope that's ok?)
Said to make sure he placed something noticeable as subject so you knew not to delete

Well, unless I read a Media Studies Ph.D after all
this cobblers. I'm in Hull for at least the next
years. I look forward to hearing from him - then
organizing a beer, then reminiscing, blablabla.
The bootleg I know I've definetly got, is one
of the Tonypandy Naval Club gigs. The quality
isn't great, but there are couple of - eh -
ludicrous things about it. I'm heard interviewing
them afterwards for an Australian fanzine, and,
if I remember right, their answers were purposefully
surreal. Secondly, inbetween encores, one of
the local proles is heard getting on stage
and mumbling into the mic - 'Fuck you, and
fuck your band' [bomp! the mic hits the floor].'
Rough crowd.
I'm still curious as to why I haven't heard
any local whispers about Angels. I'm also curious as
to what happened to Jon and co.'s Sugarkill.

AFAIK Heartbreak Angels finished in the early 90s. Daz, this isn't Ian Hunter, this is the guy Hunter replaced.
God only knows what happened to Sugarkill; wasn't Fitz from the Joeys in that too?

Curious-er and curious-er.
So who's this replacment chap? Spicy
is apparently talking to 'Ian' in email,
but is this the real Ian?
